ALLIED MEMBERSHIP

ANNUAL DUES
Annual dues are $375 per company. Anyone who pays dues in full by February 15th will have their company logo on the 2025 banner and will be included in the March Allied Appreciation event.
Allied members who join after February 15th will have the cost pro-rated.

Invoices are sent in late December each year and can be paid by credit card or check.
Allied members do not have to also be members of the national organization. If they choose to be members of the national organization, that does not cover local Savannah AIA membership costs.
SPECIAL MEETING SPONSORSHIPS
-
February- An awards ceremony will be held. This much anticipated event is always well attended, and multiple sponsorship levels are available.
-
March-The Allied Appreciation event takes the place of the regular Monthly meeting and gives the Allied members a chance to show off their companies and connect with architects in a fun, casual environment. Details will be sent out in early February to help Allied Members prepare.
-
December-The Savannah AIA partners with the local IIDA chapter to host the High Design Holiday party in place of a regular meeting in December each year. Sponsorship opportunities are sent out around Labor Day for the party of the year for the Architecture & Design community.
MONTHLY MEETING SPONSORSHIPS
Hosting a monthly meeting is just one way that allied members can support AIA Savannah.
There are two options for hosting:
01
Financial contribution of $2000 and AIA Savannah takes care
of all of the details. More than 1 allied can sponsor a meeting, as long as they are not competing companies and both parties agree.
02
In-kind where the allied member secures a venue and provides food and beverage for all attendees.
There is also a need for interactivity in our meetings. Some options include touring, gamification, panel discussions and we are open to your ideas as well.
All regular monthly meetings should have an AIA-certified CEU attached. Safety & Welfare (HSW) CEU's are preferred. The Savannah AIA board will work with the membership to present the required content. In some cases, the AIA may reach out to the sponsor/s to help facilitate the CEU requirement. If the allied member/s choose an in-kind sponsorship for the meeting, they must provide audio/video components necessary to hook up to a laptop computer for the purposes of the presentation.
A survey will be sent out in December each year for the following year's sponsorship opportunities-first come, first served!

LUNCH AND LEARN SPONSORSHIPS
Hosting a lunch & learn is a great way to develop more personal relationships with architects required to log CEU credits and other members interested in diving deeper into learning about your field.
A survey will be sent out in December each year for the following year's sponsorship opportunities-first come, first served!
All lunch & learns are considered "in kind" and the allied member secures a venue and provides food and beverage for all attendees. It is required that all lunch & learns have an AIA approved CEU delivered. Health, Safety & Welfare (HSW) CEU's are preferred. Details of the CEU can be determined closer to the meeting date based on the themes set forth by the chapter. The Savannah AIA chapter can work with you to get a presentation approved for AIA credit if you do not currently have one.
YOUNG ARCHITECT'S FORUM SPONSORSHIP
Savannah Young Architect's Forum exists to support architects in training or architects that are within 10 years of certification.
Friends of SYAF $175 get their logo on their banner and social media shout outs
(the young architects are VERY good with social media).
Sponsor a member to attend a conference or travel for training.
Invite the membership to your office or showroom for a tour or happy hour (or both).
Sponsor one of their events (sometimes that can be as simple as buying a 12 pack of beer).

HIGH DESIGN HOLIDAY
PARTY SPONSORSHIP
High Design Holiday Party Sponsorship information is sent out in late summer each year. Multiple sponsorship levels are available.
