About the Event
Join AIA members to get a behind the scenes of the 38th Street School renovation. This project takes the historic school house, a 100 year old building, and is reviving it by converting the existing classrooms into 27 boutique wood-frame apartments, including studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom floorplans. The project team is entrusted with maintaining as much of the original historic fabric as possible.
Please make sure you wear all proper PPE: hard-soled shoes - no sneakers or heeled boots, hard hat, safety vest and safety glasses. Also, no cropped pants.
Every attendee MUST have all of this to go on the tour. Otherwise, you will not be admitted on the tour - for our safety and yours.
